When Rollei appeared some years ago at the Actioncam market, the company wasn't taken seriously. Today it is very different. Meanwhile Rollei got the number 2 from all actioncams and since last autumn it has clearly the more high-grade accessories. Compared to the market leader the rechargeable battery of the Actioncam 420 has higher – capacity,
in the scope of delivery there is already a remote control inclusive and the camera is able to be fixed at the accessories without the housing. This is possible because an adapter and a tripod socket is inclusive. With the GoPro Actioncam this is not inclusive of course. The fitting accessories here, called „the Frame“ costs about 50 Euro extra.

In fact the Actioncam 420 has no touch monitor and memory card is only accepted till 32 GB (Micro SD card) , but you can easily handle the camera with its Menu key on its side and even an 32 GB Micro SD card is enough for 2 times nonstop filming with full battery .

Videos can be made with 4K/10fps , more useful are 2K/30fps ; 1080p/60pfs or 720p/120fps .
You can make beautiful slow-motion recordings, it has time lasp funktion, the camera is filming with a wide angle of 170 degrees and you can take pictures with up to 12 Megapixel. Of course the Actioncam 420 has a 180 degree G-Sensor, WIFI function and is 40 m waterproof with the underwater housing.
